Free Class to Improve Your Resume, Interview Skills and Chances of Getting a Job

Sanford, Fla., August 5, 2009-While Seminole County has one of the lowest unemployment rates in Central Florida, many of its residents have still been affected by the economy. To help them and others gain a better chance of re-entering the working world, the Seminole County Extension Service is offering a free class called “Resume Updates, Interview Skills and Cover Letters—What You Need to Know!” The class will take place at the Extension Auditorium, located at 250 W. County Home Rd. in Sanford, on Thursday, August 13 from 6-8 p.m. and will repeat on Thursday, August 20 from 8-10 a.m.
Speakers for these classes will include Human Resource Specialists from business and county government to give participants a look at the different expectations private and government sectors have for job applicants when dealing with resumes, interviews and cover letters.
