Seminole County Offers Hurricane Assistance

Sanford, Fla., September 30, 2004 - In the wake of three hurricanes, Seminole County is offering homeowners assistance with emergency home repairs and insurance deductibles. Tuesday, the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners approved grants of up to $10,000 to assist eligible homeowners in their recovery from the storms.
To qualify, the assessed value of a resident's home must be less than $106,899, and they must meet the following income guidelines:

1 $30,650
2 $35,000
3 $39,400
4 $43,750
5 $47,250
6 $50,750
7 $54,250
8 $57,750
Applications for the program are available by calling 407-665-7384, online at the County's website http://www.seminolecountyfl.gov and at the following locations:
