ePlan Logo What is Electronic Plan Review (ePlan)?

Electronic Plan Review (ePlan) is a web-based solution that allows plans for Building Permits and Development Projects to be submitted electronically, replacing the traditional paper-based review method. ePlan will improve the plan review cycle, reduce costs associated with obtaining building permits and development approvals, as well as support green initiatives.

What is SeminoleWAY? SeminoleWAY is a strategic economic development initiative focused on attracting high-value jobs and businesses to Seminole County. The SeminoleWAY district is associated with the State Road 417 Corridor, that spans the length of the County. SeminoleWAY is a forward looking plan that involves a targeted approach to economic development in partnership with the cities of Sanford, Winter Springs, and Oviedo.

Between March 2006 and August 2007, nearly 20,000 Central Florida residents answered the question “How Shall We Grow?” The result is the Central Florida Regional Growth Vision.

Commuter Rail Train
SunRail (Central Florida Commuter Rail)
After years in the planning SunRail began operations May 1, 2014. Phase 1 covers 31 miles from the DeBary Station in Volusia County, south through Seminole County and on to the Sand Lake Road Station in south Orange County. In all there are 12 stations in Phase 1. Seminole County has four stations located in Sanford, Lake Mary, Longwood, and Altamonte Springs. Phase 2 will extend the line to DeLand in Volusia County to the north, and all the way to Kissimmee in Osceola County to the south and will cover 61.5 total miles and add 5 more stations.
