The Question:
25. Who can make changes to the collection option for my property?
 
The Answer:

Only the residential property owner is authorized to change the collection option. The property owner is responsible for paying the non-ad valorem assessment and is therefore authorized to set the collection option. If you rent your residential property, the tenants are not authorized to make collection option changes. When changes are requested, the MSBU Program will mail a written confirmation of the change to the owner of record.
