EFNEP

The Expanded Food Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is a basic nutrition education program for low-income income families and youth offered by Seminole County University of Florida/IFAS Extension.
EFNEP is a free basic nutrition program that helps parents provide nutritious food choices for their families, leading to healthy children and strong families. The program also helps low- income youth make healthy food choices for better health.

Program staff meet with participants in small groups. The classes can be held at local libraries, churches, WIC office, Health department, ESOL and GED programs.
