Seminole County Office of Emergency Management in coordination with Seminole HEART (Home-based Emergency Assistance Response Team) will be hosting an exercise / workshop to help faith-based, community, and non-profit organizations and citizens develop ways to plan for the impacts of a Hurricane or other disaster event. As part of the workshop, participants will play through a simulated disaster event to test their knowledge of community resources and demonstrate the importance of coordination and cooperation in disaster preperation, response and recovery. A free dinner will be provided to each registered participant.
