Potable Water Quality

The Water Operations Team is responsible for overseeing the production and delivery of safe, high quality drinking water to the consumer. Disinfection of potable water with chlorine or hypochlorite keeps our customers safe from bacteria. To deliver safe water to the furthest customer, a chlorine residual is maintained in the system. Chlorine residual is measured by flushing the fire hydrants and taking water samples.
