Frequently Asked Questions

ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS
The Question:
How should I dispose of my old rechargeable batteries?

The Answer:
Old rechargeable batteries should NOT be placed in the trash or recycling bins. They should be taken to a facility that has a recycling program for recycling batteries. Seminole County's Household Hazardous Waste Center accepts old rechargeable batteries from household residences. Most stores that sell rechargeable batteries will also accept them for proper disposal.
