Planning and Engineering

Planning and Engineering manages water, wastewater and solid waste utility infrastructure projects from planning through design and construction. This involves coordination with design engineers, inspection engineers, contractors, municipalities and governmental agencies, and other County departments. Examples of the types of utility infrastructure include: water plants, wastewater plants, drinking water wells, sewage pumping stations, reclaimed water facilities and water and sewer pipelines.
