The Answer:

If the software has not validated your email address it is possible that the link to validate your email is "broken". Part of it is on a different line of the email thus breaking the link to where you can’t just click on it and have it work. You will need to copy and paste the ENTIRE link into your web browser in order to validate your email and sign in.
