Frequently Asked Questions

DISCONNECTIONS & RECONNECTIONS
The Question:
Can I have my water turned off today?

The Answer:
Emergencies are a response priority to SCU. In case of a pipe break or major leak, field personnel will be dispatched to shut off your water meter the same day. However, routine requests should be made not less than 24 hours in advance. Technicians are in the field by 8:00 a.m. with the day’s schedule of work.
