The Question:
Are your water meters accurate?
 
The Answer:

Yes. Meters are factory tested and calibrated to be within accepted standards of accuracy. If a customer feels the meter is not accurate, we will perform a field test for a fee of $25.00, which is waived if the meter is found to be defective. Generally, as a meter ages, it will slow down recording (measuring less water than which actually passes through the meter).
