Mission Statement

To provide, quality cost effective community supervision services and programs that protect the public and the rights of victims, foster crime prevention, divert offenders from the criminal justice system and utilize public and private resources to pro-actively correct and modify criminal behavior and its causes.

Welcome to the home pages of Seminole County Probation Division; comprised of Probation, Pre-trial Diversion, Pre-trial Release Electronic Monitoring Protection and Crime Tracking (E.M.P.A.C.T.) and Community Service sections. Our members are dedicated in the promotion of safety for our neighbors and guests. Thus, the divisions' resources will be allocated to support enhancing Judicial decision-making through assessment of offenders' risk and needs, enforcing Court sanctions, collaborating with other Criminal Justice agencies to cultivate pro-active crime prevention partnerships, moving supervised offenders to lawful self-sufficiency, and supporting the rights of victims.

We accept the multiplicity of roles Seminole County Probation division participates in with regards to community protection and offender assistance. Our protective role entails the professional monitoring of offenders in the community while they attempt to reintegrate back into productive law-abiding members of society. We will assist offenders, through education, treatment and counseling or other cost-effective programs, to abandon their anti-social behavior or face the more serious consequence of incarceration.

As we move forward in the twenty-first century our staff will continue their commitment to the development of new programs and performance to augment public safety in our community. To serve our changing community better we shall continue to seek out new solutions to the causes of criminal activity.
