EMS Performance ManagementEMERGENCY TREATMENT PROTOCOLS

Seminole County is involved in a multi-county EMS Protocol Program with other Counties in Central Florida. This concept allows continuity of care in the metropolitan Orlando area. A group of EMS experts from each participating agency work in conjunction with their Medical Directors to develop the protocols. The protocols are evaluated periodically and modified to keep pace with changes in medical care.

The EMS Quality Assurance Program is the interagency coordination point for the Seminole County Emergency Medical (EMS) System.

MISSION STATEMENT

Medical Quality Assurance will endeavor to improve the efficiency of the Seminole County EMS System through the application of sound medical Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).
