Seminole County maintains over 60 miles of landscaped medians. Our landscapes utilize the "Florida-Friendly Landscaping" philosophy promoted by the University of Florida, Seminole County Extension Service. We rely on low to no irrigation, drought tolerant materials and best management practices within our landscaped streetscapes in order to preserve our resources while not sacrificing aesthetics.
