Disaster Prep and Recovery

Natural disasters such as wildfires, hurricanes, sinkholes, and tornados can happen at any time. If we are prepared in our homes, communities, and workplaces, we can mitigate many of the effects of these events.

Seminole County, UF/IFAS Seminole County Extension, as well as University of Florida/IFAS, all offer education and programs to help before, during and after Natural Disasters. If you don't find the information you are looking for here, contact your local extension office.
