PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT DIVISION

  1. MUST HAVE APPROVED SITE PLAN FROM THE PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT DIVISION TO SUBMIT FOR A NEW COMMERCIAL PROJECT

TO SUBMIT FOR A COMMERCIAL PERMIT YOU MUST HAVE:

  1. PARCEL ID NUMBER / ADDRESS / OR LEGAL PRINTOUT & UNIT OR SUITE NUMBER IF APPLICABLE (IF APARTMENT/CONDO NUMBER OF DWELLING UNITS PER BUILDING)
  2. 3 SETS OF SITE PLANS (P&D APPROVED SITE PLAN IF REQUIRED)
  3. 3 SETS OF ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER SEALED PLANS
  4. 3 SETS OF ENERGY CALCULATIONS
  5. 3 SETS OF RAISED SEALED TRUSS PROFILES
  6. PRODUCT APPROVAL FORM (3 COPIES)
  7. RAISED SEAL GEO TECH REPORT (NEW COMMERCIAL)
  8. 1 APPLICATION FILLED OUT COMPLETELY
  9. 1 DINO FORM (HISTORICAL / ARCHAEOLOGICAL DISCOVERY) IF YOU ARE BREAKING GROUND
  10. 1 NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT (REQUIRED PRIOR TO THE FIRST INSPECTION; MAY BE SUBMITTED AT TIME OF APPLICATION) - (NOT REQUIRED FOR TENTS)
  11. 1 POWER OF ATTORNEY (IF CONTRACTOR HAS NOT SIGNED ALL REQUIRED PAPERWORK OR IS NOT APPEARING IN PERSON)
  12. 1 OWNER BUILDER FORM (IF UNDER $75,000 & NO CONTRACTOR OR NO CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED FOR THIS TYPE OF PERMIT)
  13. 1 ESTOPPEL LETTER (IF REQUIRED)
  14. 1 ARBOR PERMIT (IF REQUIRED)
  15. IF NOT SEMINOLE COUNTY WATER & SEWER, NEED UTILITY LETTER FROM PROVIDER OR WELL / SEPTIC PERMIT/LETTER (OR LIFT STATION)
  16. A 50% DEPOSIT (BASED ON THE VALUE OF THE PROJECT) AFTER VALUE IS ESTABLISHED. YOU CAN APPLY THE FORMULA: $50 BASE PLUS $5 PER THOUSAND. THE DEPOSIT WILL BE DUE AT TIME OF SUBMITTAL.
