COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE
Emergency Financial Assistance (PDF)
These are Board of County Commission (BCC) general revenue and grant funds that provide limited financial assistance to eligible Seminole County residents confronting a financial hardship.
Availability of all programs is contingent upon availability of funds.
Walk-in Application Hours: Monday, Tuesday & Thursdays, 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.
Only completed applications with all required documents will be accepted. The number of completed applications accepted may be limited.
Appointment Hours: Wednesdays, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

RENTAL/MORTGAGE
Resident must provide documentation of financial hardship. Note: This assistance is limited to one time within a 12-month period.

MEDICAL
Lab work, dental, eye exams and glasses, medical
examinations and other minor health care needs.
Some limited assistance also available for purchase

PRESCRIPTIONS
Intended to meet immediate medication needs of residents. Doctor's written Rx is required. New prescriptions only, no refills. The assistance is limited to one time within a 12-month period.

CHILD CARE
Funds intended to provide temporary assistance for residents who have been denied 4C services
or are currently on the 4C waiting list. Child care applicants must attend a child care orientation.

BURIAL/CREMATION
Seminole County has an indigent Burial/Cremation Program for eligible residents of the County. Contact 407-665-2360 for application and procedure. |
