Frequently Asked Questions

VENDOR INFORMATION
The Question:
2. How can I find out about upcoming projects that Seminole County may have out for bid?

The Answer:

Becoming a registered vendor is your first and most important step.  The Purchasing & Contracts Division has the unique ability to broadcast our various requirements via e-mail back to our registered vendors.  We accomplish this by selecting the appropriate commodity codes that specifically match the requirements of our project or bid.  If those are the same commodity codes that your company selected during the registration process, then you will receive an e-mail notification from the Purchasing & Contracts Division.  This e-mail notification will contain a hyper-link which if clicked, will bring you immediately back to our web site to the exact specific location of the bid solicitation.   You may also visit our web site (www.seminolecountyfl.gov/purchasing) any time and click on current procurement which will provide you the latest information about our various projects and/or requirements.
