Consent Agenda

Items No. 2 - 15 - Board unanimously approved Items No. 2 through 15; pulling Item No. 9 at the request of the applicant. (5 - 0)
Items No. 16 - 17 - Board unanimously approved Items No. 16 and 17. (5 - 0)

Chairman Dallari requested Board approval for the following re-appointments:

Re-appoint Keith Weissman to the Animal Control Board for a 1-year term ending January 1, 2010.

Re-appoint George Wallace to the Law Library: Fred R. Wilson Memorial Board of Trustees, for a 3-year term ending January 1, 2012.

Board unanimously approved re-appointments. ( 5 - 0 )

Chairman Dallari asked for Board consensus to change a few of the Board meeting dates to work around summer vacation schedules, Memorial Day and Labor Day holidays.  Consensus was for the Chairman and the County Manager to meet to determine the schedule changes.

District 2 - Commissioner McLean requested Board approval for the following re-appointment and Resolution of Appreciation:

Re-appoint Marilyn Wittmer to the Animal Control Board for a 1-year term ending January 1, 2010.

Resolution of Appreciation to Lisa Giltner for her service on the Leisure Services Advisory Committee.

Board unanimously approved the re-appointment and the adoption of a Resolution of Appreciation. ( 5 - 0 )
County Manager, Cindy Coto, brought forth three items for discussion and approval; 1) Adoption of a Resolution amending Section 2.5 of the BCC Administrative Code - Powers, Duties and Responsibilities of County Government.
Board approved. ( 4 - 1 ) Commissioner Henley voted Nay
2) Approval of the compensation amount to the Lead BCC Executive Assistant.
Board approved a flat amount of $250 per month beginning the first pay check in March 2009. ( 4 - 1 ) Commissioner Henley voted Nay
3) Approval of the Job Description for the BCC Executive Assistants, effective February, 10, 2009.
Board unanimously approved. ( 5 - 0 )
