Adopt an Underdog or Wondercat

It’s hard watching people pass by your cage and never give you a second look.
They rush right by without even a glance.
We know that’s how some of our dogs and cats feel at Seminole County Animal Services.
They are the ‘Underdogs and Wondercats”.
They are the wonderful adoptable pets that just keep getting overlooked.
Maybe it’s their size or their age or even their color.
It could be that they are shy and don’t demand attention or have a special need like getting some basic training.
But these great dogs and cats would all make wonderful pets if someone would just give them a chance.
So this week we are having our Adopt and Underdog or Wondercat Week.
From Monday August 20 through Sunday August 26.
We will be showcasing our overlooked pets.
Stop by the Animal Services Shelter at 232 Bush Blvd in Sanford and check out our event specials.
All our new adopters will go home with a goody bag for their new pet.
Seminole County Animal Services is open from 10am-4pm Monday through Saturday and will be open Special Hours on Sunday August 26 from 11am-3pm.
Once you spend time with one of our overlooked pets you will say to yourself
“Why hasn’t this dog or cat been adopted?” it’s wonderful!!!
