Help Seminole County win the ASPCA/Rachael Ray $100,000 challenge

Donald the dog
A Dozen a Day...What does that mean?? Well that's what it will take to push Seminole County Animal Services into the winner's circle of the ASPCA/Rachael Ray $100,000 challenge.

If Seminole County Animal Services can adopt out, or return home to their owners a dozen dogs and cats each day from August 1st through October 31 they will be eligible for $100,000 in prize money.
Think of all the good that money can do for the homeless pets in Seminole County? But even more than the money if a dozen pets a day are adopted out or returned to their owners that would mean over 1,100 animals would find their way into homes in a 3 month period. How awesome would that be? That would be an increase of over 30% in adoptions from last year.
To reach this goal Seminole County Animal Services is reaching out to each and every one of you to help us find loving homes for all of our wonderful cats and dogs. August through October everyone in our community will be able to participate in the Rescue or Refer contest. You can rescue a dog or cat yourself or Refer a friend or family member who adopts and you will receive a chance in one of our many drawings to win some great prizes. From gift baskets to gift cards all you have to do is Rescue or Refer someone. The more dogs or cats that are adopted because of YOU the more chances you will have in the prize drawings.
August, September and October will be filled with special events held at the shelter and at off site locations. Watch our county website, www.seminolecountyadoptions.petfinder.com  and Seminole County Animal Services on Facebook to see what events we have coming up.
